  8. John really looking forward to regularly seeing updates of this blog. Do not think I havre seen the fortified Swiss model before it’s lovely. As a keen but very amateurish building modeller myself I cannot wait to read more about how you create these wonderful models. Good luck with this endeavour .

  10. These are beautiful, John. They add so much to a wargame or demonstration. I look forward to the tutorials.

  11. Thanks for so many kind comments, everyone. I have at least kept to my target of a post every single day so far. That'll never last! Tutorials as such remain in the future, although there's quite a bit of information on materials and methods within the individual posts, for those who are interested.

  13. Now then John, Nick Whiteley, the guy from near Hull. Those Italian buildings were wonderful, a bit harsh on the moulds but worth it. I enjoyed spending the day with you, what was that, nearly 30 years ago now, it was pre 2000 as i was mould making and casting from my little 8x10ft shed, you must have left a lasting impression... hope you're keeping ok, wouldn't mind a catch up at some point.
